It's not as if I can actually afford expensive shoes, but with the above lovelies in mind, I'm thinking of saving up to buy some Jeffry Campbell wedges.
Specifically these:
I've looked at other wedges (Ashish for Topshop, which is still on my wish list - the Zebra print mostly, because, well, black and white goes with everything. I'm not sure if I could pull off leopard print anyway).
So. I trawled eBay and fell in love with the JC wedges.
I just find them very aesthetically pleasing (she says, wondering why you wouldn't buy a pair of shoes that weren't) and I've wanted something more elegant as of late. That, and they have a sort of..erm...not clumpy, but something, element to them without distracting you from the overall shape.
I'll never stop loving my small (but growing) collection of DM's, however, but wantwantwant.
mmm those black wedges are still absolutely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI have a knee-jerk reaction to anything that's either animal-print or peeptoe, but seriosuly- those zebra stuff is the way forward. I admire your ability to walk in such heels!
I would love to see you rocking those jeffrey campbell wedges, even though all that label does is rip off designer shoes!
