More from Saturdays shoot

A few more of Cyan Cheung in Léafric Designs. Absolutely loved this shoot - I have so many photos to go through and 3 films to have developed. Ohhh.

If I'm honest, some of the edits have been harder than others - I find portraits easier and often my camera captures those shots easier - the image is sharper, etc. also it;'s a portrait lens too, so you know (I need a new leeeeeennnns, ugh), but hopefully some of the full body shots on the film will come out.
I think the issue is probably having a good photo, but finding the overall composition not as "inspiring" as others, so it's a challenge to work with it against stonger edits. Also, as my friend Becca said (she asissted the shoot and also got some incredible photos from it!), what I prefer might not be what someone else does, so it's always hit and miss and good to have a second eye to run over your work.
Thank you, also for sll your amazing comments, I'm sorry I'm so bad at replying but I honestly read them all.
I dunno, but I'd loved working through these photos - expect more soon, probably!

  2. Ahh, thank you!! But I wish, haha, I need to get paid for this stuff first I think.

That pink dress really is very beautiful though - I wish it'd suit someone like me, but I doubt it!

  3. As always, beautiful photos.
I especially like the b/w shot on the bridge and the one with the pink dress (second last). I also quite enjoy the editting on the last picture even though it's not something I would usually be a big fan of, but I think it suits this picture.
I don't really like the third one however. I quite like the composition and the background, but I don't really like the lightning. I think she disappears a bit too much in the background (not really, but colourwise, if you get what I mean) and I don't like the sunlight on her nose/mouth.
Oh and I really like the first one as well!

(because I felt the need to say more than just: OH GOD YOU'RE SO GOOD. That's true though.)

  4. The lighting on the her nose and mouth annoys me too! I must get some better ones up of that outfit, haha - I agree it's not the strongest of them all. Some of these were so awkward to edit.
THANK YOU FOR THE AMAZING COMMENT! <3

  10. You definitely have some talent! I love the photos. The 4th and the last photos. I like the editing on the last one! I do agree with previous posts that the 3rd is my least favorite.
